About Me.
When I first stepped into a gym as a teenager, I remember being intimidated by all the machines and equipment at first—but I kept going and kept getting stronger. I continued working out throughout college, even being labeled as the “gym guy” in my circle of friends.
Then college ended and work began…and my workouts became less and less frequent. And my eating habits became worse and worse. As my work hours increased, so did my weight. It wasn’t until I took on a new position as the manager at a national commercial gym that I made the effort to get in better shape—at first just to “look the part.”
I never planned on training others, but one day a member asked me how I achieved my goals. I found the process of talking fitness very rewarding—particularly when that member achieved notable results just from my few pointers.
From that point I decided I wanted to help people with fitness directly. I became a Certified Personal Trainer and have since trained dozens of clients over hundreds and hundreds of sessions. It has been the most rewarding decision of my career.
In addition to my certification in Personal Training, I am a Certified Nutrition Coach and Corrective Exercise Specialist. While my in-person slots are limited for new clients, I have carved out some slots for Zoom training to help out people more efficiently.
I have also uploaded the accumulation of all my knowledge and experience in my website and I continue adding to it. Let me help you gain and keep the discipline to continue on your fitness journey.
